Starting out as an in-my-free-time musician with a passion for photography, I have turned that into being a keen-eyed photographer with a passion for music. I get a
kick out of putting the two together - capturing images of the world of music and getting the pic that is music to the eyes. That's the live sounds of Cape Town

17 March 2012 - Time for war. Or so bands keep telling me about the various Battle of the Band competitions going around. In only it\'s second year, the Niva Battle organised by Niva Records is one of only a handful of such events playing out in our city.

First I need to thank Rock the River for allowing me to get up close and personal with the bands. Yep, that's right - I got me a media pass (in exchange for my soul, haha). Seriously though this was a big deal for me and I loved every second of it.

21 December 2011 - Long ago I had a stupid crush on a local band. That band, Tweak, have since left us and there's not much of them left to hear in CrashCarBurn despite featuring Garth Barnes and Bugsy.
